Errata problem solved, next revision G4 will support speeds to 650 MHz, following generation to 900 MHz, and after that 1.1 GHz by end of 2000. Based on Moore's Law, the Pentium III should reach 1.2-1.4 GHz then, so this really reduces the "MHz gap."
