RasterOps ColorBoard 264/SE30

Physical Specs and Compatibility

The RasterOps ColorBoard 264/SE30 is an 030 PDS card compatible with the Macintosh SE/30. Marco Bakker reports that it works with System 7.1 and 7.5.5, but not with System 6.0.x. Pasi Talvitie reports that it works just fine with System 6.0.7

Acceleration/Resolution/Color Support

The RasterOps ColorBoard 264/SE30 is unaccelerated and supports a resolution of 640 x 480 in up to 24-bit colour. The card works with Apple's Monitors control panel and does not require the RasterOps display software.

The ColorBoard 264/SE30 does not support multisync monitors, although they can be used in conjunction with a manually set video adapter that supports 640 x 480.

Software

RasterOps video card drivers can be downloaded from the Mac Driver Museum, where ShrinkWrap disk images are available for RasterOps Graphics Install v3.2 and v3.3, MoviePak, MoviePak2, and VideoTime.
