Macs Needed for School in Hospital
I enjoy reading your remarks on the Mac community and am writing you for help in locating Macs for our school.
My name is James Barrow, and I am an employee at Gateways Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. This is a mental health facility that utilizes an in-hospital school program, Berenece/Carlson. This school has been using Macs since before I started there and, unfortunately, has been limited to one computer for the 15-18 students in its classrooms. The other computers are far too outdated or have fallen into disrepair.
I am looking for low-end computers (LC 575s, etc.) to be donated. I contacted Apple and did get a response, but did not get any follow-up when I presented them with the information they requested (namely, we teach 12-17 year olds and house between 15 and 20 patients.)
My CFO is prepared with our facility's 501(c)(3) and I am anxious to better prepare our patients with more computers. Any help that you can give me will be appreciated.
Thank you,
James Barrow
