iOS 6 Compatibility Chart
iOS 6 supports the iPhone 3GS, 4th generation iPod touch, and iPad - and newer. It does not support the original iPhone, iPhone 3, or original iPad.
The table below only includes features that are not available to all iOS 6 compatible devices. All iOS 6 devices support Maps, Shared Photo Streams, Passbook, and improvements to Phone, Mail, Safari, and Accessibility. Some features are not supported in some areas - Apple has a list on its site.

- Turn-by-turn navigation requires cellular data capability.
- Siri requires Internet access.
- FaceTime requires that both the caller and recipient have a FaceTime-compatible device.
- FaceTime requires cellular data capability and carrier support.
- Find My features only work when the device is powered on and connected to WiFi or a cellular data plan.
