kinda spoiled today's Stevenote, but it also gave us a chance to look
at the new iMac and form an opinion before Steve Jobs unveiled it to
the rest of the world.Flat-out cool? Sorry, Steve. I know you're into geometric shapes and all, but this looks like a big pet rock painted white, given a gray Apple logo, and connected to a flat panel display.
Sure, it'll get attention, but not the same kind as the iMac, Power Mac "handle" case, both iBook designs, the Cube, or the TiBook. This is one weird looking computer.
Maybe you just have to see in in person to get as excited about it as Steve Jobs is.
