The Apple Store in the US and Canada only lists refurbished shuffles and 8 GB nanos this morning - the holidays must have cleaned out the rest. However, the Australian Apple Store not only has a huge supply of refurbished iPods (1G and 2G shuffles, 1G and 2G nanos, but at unusually attractive prices for the most part.
Apple
overhauled the iPod line in September; now there are four different
models: shuffle, nano, classic, and touch. Because of the breadth of
the iPod line, we now have four iPod price trackers, one for classic iPods, one for the iPod touch, one for the nano, and one for the shuffle.
The iPod nano got a real overhaul - it's wider and shorter than earlier nanos, and the new very high resolution 320 x 240 2" display lets it play videos and support cover flow.
iPods aren't just for music, photos, and video; they're also a great way to backup important files and transport files between computers.
We'll refer to the newest nano as nano3 in our listings to distinguish it from the first and second generation models.
