1993
- Macintosh LC III introduced. The 25 MHz LC III eliminated the 16-bit memory bottleneck and 10 MB RAM ceiling of the earlier 16 MHz LC models.
- Color Classic introduced, identical to Performa 250 introduced nine days earlier.
- PowerBook 165c is the first PowerBook with a color display, although the passive-matrix screen is less than perfect.
- Centris 610 and 650 introduced to fill middle space between consumer models and pro-oriented Quadra series.
- Quadra 800 introduced to replace Quadra 950.
